There will be plenty of hot festive food and good cheer at our venues: Ely Methodist Church and the Cathedral’s Almonry Restaurant. A warm welcome awaits you.
How can I book?
To book a sit-down meal or request a delivered or collected meal (within a six-mile radius of Ely), please visit our dedicated bookings website: To request a meal, please visit our bookings and payment website: www.buytickets.at/elycommunitylunches.
Bookings open on 19 October and close on 18 December.

How much will it cost me?
£10, but those referred to us from the foodbank or statutory organisations can enjoy a meal for free thanks to our generous donors. Contact Dave at the Lighthouse 01353 662228 or The Ely Foodbank to request a free ticket.
Will there be a vegetarian or vegan meal?
Yes, please let us know when you book if you would like that.
What about food intolerances?
Please let us know when you book your meal and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Can I bring my own drink?
Yes, but our venues are alcohol free on Christmas Day.
Can I have a meal delivered to me at home instead?
Yes, we will deliver a set number of cold meals within a four-mile radius of Ely on Christmas Eve. Keep it in the fridge and reheat is on Christmas Day.
Is the event for me?
Yes, everyone is welcome, regardless of faith or belief.
Can I sponsor a meal for someone else?

What time shall I arrive?
By 12.30pm, please, to eat at 1.00pm.
What time does it finish?
By 3.00pm
Can I sit with my friends?
Yes, but please let us know who you would like to sit with – we will try our best.
Can I bring a pet?
Assistance dogs are allowed only.
What if I need to cancel?
We will generally be able to refund your ticket if you cancel before ticket sales close (but there may be a small admin fee).
I don’t have transport. Can I get a lift to my venue?
There may be some volunteers who can offer lifts and we will do our best to help. Please contact us and we will see what we can do.
